The Times Higher Education World University Rankings have been revealed.
The table ranks 1,400 universities in 92 countries on a range of indicators that measure their performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
The University of Oxford topped this years rankings, making it the best uni in the world for the fourth year in a row. As for the rest of the UK, four universities made the top 15 and 11 ranked in the top 100.
Overall, the UK's performance in the Times Higher Education rankings has declined. Only 28 universities appear in the top 200 this year compared with 34, four years ago. Also, of the 28 British universities in the top 200, 18 have a seen a drop by at least one place this year.
