Is employability an important factor to you when choosing a university? If so, here are the best universities for graduate prospects in 2020.

The Complete University Guide has released its 2020 league tables, ranking universities on everything from student satisfaction and research quality to graduate prospects.

The graduate prospects ranking provides an indication of the employability of students after they finish university. Whilst universities may perform well overall, when graduate prospects are considered alone the league tables shift.

The rankings are based on the number of graduates who take up employment or further study after university, divided by the total number of graduates. This provides each university with a score out of 100.

St George's, University of London took the top spot this year despite ranking 47th overall. Meanwhile St Andrews, who placed 3rd in the national rankings, fell to 49th when it came to graduate prospects.

The ten best universities for graduate prospects are ranked below and you can find the full list here.
