We understand that grads want to work in companies that offer more than just a salary and job title; they want careers that offer a good lifestyle and a positive experience too.
Below are six teams that recognise having a culture that actively encourages employees to unwind, and even gives them the tools to do so, is as important as handing out pay checks at the end of the month.
Go take a look and let the good times roll...
1. Softcat – Graduate Account Executive
Deadline: 28 October 2017
Table football matches, FIFA tournaments, office Tiki bars… It’s easy to see why Softcat has been voted the UK's Official Best Workplace for 2016 and has ranked in the European top ten for four years in a row. They know that the secret to happy customers is a happy Sales team.

2. Merkle Periscopix – Programmatic Display Account Manager
Deadline: 5 June 2017
With an average age of 27, the team at Merkle Periscopix know how to wind down after a long day of managing Digital Marketing campaigns for big clients (Warner Bros., Tesco, Cath Kidston and HMV - just to drop a few names in). They don’t have to go far to do so, though – onsite pool and ping pong tables mean they can chill in their central London office.
3. GradTouch – Developer
I can speak from first-hand experience here: GradTouch is a very fun place to be. Yes, we work hard, but we also know how important it is to unwind during, or at the end of, the day. There’s a heap of activities in our trendy Manchester Norther Quarter base to help, including a ping-pong table and free onsite bar. We also get together for a free lunch, office quiz and after-work drinks on a Friday to round off the week in the best possible way.
Come and be part of the fun:
4. NMPi – Graduate Account Executive
Deadline: 5 June 2017
NMPi’s talented team is made up of everyone from dancers to baseball players, yacht masters to martial artists. So, it’s lucky that this active bunch can enjoy burning off any extra energy with a game of table football in the office.

5. IFS – IFS Young Professional Programme
Deadline: 22 June 2016
IFS takes pride in the friendly approach that they apply to everything they do, whether it’s providing business software to clients based everywhere from Australia to America, or the way that they treat their own Consultants. It therefore follows that, although mostly based on the road, their team has a first-class HQ to return to, one that comes complete with a pool table, Jenga and other games to help them feel right at home.

6. FDM – IT Consultant
Deadline: 20 January 2018
IT services provider FDM isn’t just at the forefront of digital innovation, they’re also leading the way when it comes to graduate careers. Last year, they launched the careers of over 1,100 Consultants, making them one of the largest graduate employers in the UK. However, the award-winner still knows how important it is to take time out, with offices featuring pool tables, table football and more to help keep smiles on everyone’s faces.
