As part of the annual World University Rankings by subject, this league table includes Mathematics & Statistics, Physics & Astronomy, Chemistry, and Geology, Environmental, Earth & Marine Sciences.
The University of Cambridge was the highest scoring UK institution, followed by the University of Oxford and Imperial College London.
