These are the 20 best cities in the UK for graduates to get a job

Liverpool is the best city for graduates to get a job right now.

The northern city topped rankings from new data collected by AdView, who wanted to know which UK cities outside of London can provide attractive and affordable opportunities for graduates.

After analysing 13 different metrics, such as wage growth, employment rate and the affordability of rent, Liverpool came out as the more purse-friendly alternative to the capital.

Edinburgh and Leicester join Liverpool at the top of the rankings in second and third place respectively, both also offering job-seeking graduates a large number of opportunities and a relatively inexpensive cost of living.

So, if moving to London to get a graduate job doesn't appeal to you, here are 20 cities that you might want to consider instead.

You can find out more about how the rankings were determined here.
