With the weather getting warmer, it gets harder to stay focused and on task. Staying cool while working from home is essential for maintaining comfort, focus, and productivity, especially during hot weather. While offices might be air-conditioned, houses often aren’t so you have to get a little more creative. Here are some tips to help you stay cool:


Optimise your workspace:

  • Position your workspace near windows with good airflow to take advantage of natural ventilation.
  • If possible, set up your workspace in a cooler area of your home, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Use light-coloured curtains or blinds to reflect sunlight and reduce heat transfer.


Use fans strategically:

  • Place a fan near your workspace to create a cooling breeze.
  • Consider using a desk fan or a portable fan that you can easily move around.
  • If you have a ceiling fan, ensure it's set to rotate counterclockwise to create a downward breeze.


Stay hydrated:
