Not sure what you want to do after university? This is the job for you

It's a dilemma faced by graduates year-in-year-out: what do you do if you don't know what you want to do after university?

Looking for a graduate job can be a hard enough task on its own, and looking for one when you're not really sure what it is you're looking for doesn't make things any easier.

The key to figuring it out, aside from keeping an open mind, is to focus first not on what you could do but on what you like to do and what you're good at, and the rest will sort itself out in due course.

Although lots of graduate jobs are tailored towards graduates with a specific career goal in mind, there's a whole world of diverse and exciting opportunities out there offering you the chance to start your career in an industry you might not otherwise have considered.

One of those opportunities is world-leading Virtual and Augmented Reality software developer EON Reality's Innovation Academy.

If you don't know what you want to do after university, there's a very good chance you haven't considered doing something in the Technology industry, let alone in Virtual and Augmented Reality. Maybe because the roles would've gone straight over your head, but probably because you would assume it's an industry whose doors open exclusively to graduates from a Technology-related degree discipline. This, however, is far from the case.

For companies like EON Reality, finding the Virtual and Augmented Reality experts of the future isn't about searching for the next Neo from The Matrix, but rather welcoming graduates from across the board who have, above all, a genuine passion for technology.

Put simply, if you're excited about the future of technology, they want to hear from you.

Their Innovation Academy gives you a unique insight into a diverse industry with a diverse array of roles to be filled, making it the perfect opportunity for a graduate who isn't sure what they want to do next.

You'll learn everything there is to know about Virtual and Augmented Reality, getting a feel for which area of the industry suits you the best and having first dibs on permanent vacancies within the business. Previous graduates have gone on to work in everything from art and animation to quality assurance and training, with their roles taking them all over the world.

Perhaps most invaluably of all, you'll gain a much clearer idea of what you want to do after university, as well as the skills to get you there.
