30 Totally Weird Interview Questions

As if the usual questions weren't enough, interviewers now insist on getting answers to some seemingly impossible questions. Here are 30 of our favourites:

To start, here are a few from some recognisable names: 

1. Google: "How many cows are in Canada?"

2. Kimberly-Clark: "If you had turned your cell phone to silent, and it rang really loudly despite it being on silent, what would you tell me?"

3. PriceWaterhouse Coopers: "My wife and I are going on vacation, where would you recommend?"

4. Zappos: "What superhero would you be and would you dress up at work given the chance?"

5. Apple: "If you were a pizza delivery man, how would you benefit from scissors?"  

6. Xerox: "Why is a tennis ball fuzzy?" 

7. McKinsey & Company: "If you were 80 years old, what would you tell your children?" 

8. Urban Outfitters: "You're a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?"

29. On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you?

30. How would you design a spice rack for a blind person?

Suitably weirded out? Don't worry - the interviewer is not trying to catch you out, it's all about discovering a little bit about your personality, so just be natural!
