Join our Technology Discover Graduate Programme

We are looking for innovation leaders, those who embrace new technologies and are continuously learning.

  

Location: London & Newbury

What you will be doing

Our Technology programme has four sub streams which graduates can choose one from and will be asked to state, as a preference, during the application process. The programme is typically, 2 x 6-month rotations and 1 x one-year placement across within the sub streams mentioned below.

Graduates can expect to do various defined rotational placements across our technology business, all related to your chosen sub stream below and helping you gain the capability and experience to kick start your tech career. These sub streams are:

  • Software Engineering You will be undertaking related placements and learning skills in various teams such as Digital consumer products, Internet of Things, Cloud and Automation. Learning will be focused on disciplines such as cloud solutions, networks, Digital customer experiences as well as DevOps, CI/CD toolchains, new software lifecycles and agile methodologies.

  • Network Engineering You could be undertaking placements in various teams including, but not limited to network operations (fixed, mobile & TV), radio & transmission, technology strategy and architecture, I.T operations, cloud & virtualisation while obtaining core learning in the area of network engineering.

  • Security you will learn the importance of creating high quality solutions that can work across international boundaries and remain safe and operational in the face of increasingly complex threats. These practical skills will prepare you for potential placements covering Cyber Defence, Security Consultancy and Engineering, Ethical Hacking, Incident Management support, Vulnerability Management as well as Security Architecture.

  • Big Data, Insights & Analytics You will have the opportunity to undertake placements in various teams including, but not limited to, Big Data Science, Big Data Delivery, Big Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, Technology Shared Services and the Internet of things.

To join this programme you will need a 2.1 (or equivalent) in a technology related degree to be eligible for this programme.
