What you will be doing

As a Sales Executive you'll be building relationships, generating leads and ensuring Tempo has a healthy pipeline of potential customers. 

  • You will perform outbound B2B sales activity, generating opportunities that ultimately lead to closed deals
  • You will identify and approach new client prospects, via any means possible
  • You will be able to deliver a perfect elevator pitch over the phone and in person, as well as writing carefully crafted emails
    You will establish a healthy pipeline and be committed to converting as many as possible to paying customers
  • You will successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
    You will build strong relationships and gather feedback that will help us refine and improve our product
  • You will work closely with the Co-Founders and Marketing team on creative initiatives that will help boost exposure

What we're all about

We launched our MVP in May 2017 with a rag-tag bunch of development superstars and started generating revenue the day it went live. We haven’t looked back since: the last 18 months has seen over 60,000 candidates sign up to our platform; roughly 2,500 employers (including the likes of Monzo, Uber, Bulb Energy and BCG to name a few); the size of the team has quadrupled and investors have supported the business with over £3M of funding to accelerate our growth.

Tempo has created an end-to end hiring platform that encompasses sourcing, screening and interviewing. Using video and machine learnings to streamline the process, we have slashed the average time-to-hire to just 3 days whilst reducing costs by 65%.

We are a young, diverse team with a breadth of experience.

Having worked at a variety of cool companies such as BBC, Sky, KPMG, Bain and Perkbox, each member of the team brings something different to the table. Not only do we work hard, but we like to have a laugh too, in particular at our monthly socials and weekly football matches.
