Onwards to our company and culture…

We are Tempo

Tempo believes that work should be an adventure.

Recruitment should be the most exciting thing a company does. Each hire is the chance to find someone great, who will bring fresh ideas and energy to drive your business forward. For candidates each new role is a chance to make an impact, develop skills and make new friends. However, thanks to years of cumbersome, disengaging and expensive processes, recruitment has become something that both companies and candidates dread. Tempo is here to change that.

What we're all about

We launched our MVP in May 2017 with a rag-tag bunch of development superstars and started generating revenue the day it went live. We haven’t looked back since: the last 18 months has seen over 60,000 candidates sign up to our platform; roughly 2,500 employers (including the likes of Monzo, Uber, Bulb Energy and BCG to name a few); the size of the team has quadrupled and investors have supported the business with over £3M of funding to accelerate our growth.

Tempo has created an end-to end hiring platform that encompasses sourcing, screening and interviewing. Using video and machine learnings to streamline the process, we have slashed the average time-to-hire to just 3 days whilst reducing costs by 65%.

We’re challenging the status quo to transform an experience that’s slow, demoralising and expensive and in to something quick, easy and cost-effective. We’re unlike anything the recruitment industry has ever seen...

We are a young, diverse team with a breadth of experience.

Having worked at a variety of cool companies such as BBC, Sky, KPMG, Bain and Perkbox, each member of the team brings something different to the table. Not only do we work hard, but we like to have a laugh too, in particular at our monthly socials and weekly football matches.

We give people a lot of responsibility early.

We are constantly growing and adapting so no day is the same when you work for Tempo. This gives a graduate the perfect opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and exciting environment. As we continue to expand, different roles and opportunities will open up across sectors, giving graduates a great chance for movement and progression within the company.
