Become a Betting Operations Lead
StakeMate is a sports betting start-up planning to bring first class social betting to an outdated market. With a clean and simple user experience, StakeMate allows players to bet against their mates as well as the house.
We plan to lead the industry in customer service and social responsibility. This is at the core of our mission and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join the team.
What you will be doing
You will be assisting in the general day to day running of StakeMate which will involve working on:
- Customer service
- Helping run our social media pages
- Compliance assistance (customer verification, due diligence)
- As the company grows you will have the opportunity to manage and oversee performance of all customer service/operational staff, via training, HR functions, and day to day operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help build new customer service processes and strengthen existing processes.
- End to end customer complaints management.
- Responsible for keeping our social media account profiles active.
- Managing customer satisfaction, including providing feedback and resolutions for all negative feedback via internal communication or via online domains (e.g., Trust Pilot).
- Any other ad hoc work that may pop up at a start up!
What you will have
Desirable skills and requirements (but not essential!):
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to travel to offices in London (near Aldgate station).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with Zendesk.
- An interest in sports and betting.
