What you will be doing
We are currently looking for a researcher to join our growing team – focusing specifically on appointments in the higher education sector. They provide the crucial underpinning of all our assignments. Through persuasive advocacy and creative, original research, we seek to distinguish ourselves from our competitors and to deliver the best possible results for our clients.
The role also involves a significant element of project management, including overseeing the preparation of key client reports and supporting the consulting team with client relationship management, proposal writing, interviewing and business development.
As you develop more experience you can take on additional responsibility for research leadership across the firm. Should you wish to pursue a consulting career in the longer term then this path would also be supported and your skills developed accordingly.
You will execute the process elements of even the trickiest assignments with clinical precision
You will possess genuine flair and creativity in how you approach research
You will be responsible for identifying, contacting and engaging with talented and impressive senior people around the world
You will be involved in firm-wide quality and knowledge management initiatives
You will carry out comprehensive and creative desk-based research to identify potentially suitable candidates
You will produce high quality client reports including candidate review documents and proposals
You will advise on the drafting of candidate information packs and public advertisements
You will book media space on behalf of clients and negotiating rates where appropriate

You have relevant experience gained within a recruitment agency or executive search firm
You have a proven ability to produce high quality written work, including reports
You have excellent natural communication and interpersonal skills
You have the ability to work autonomously and excellent personal organisation, including the ability to deliver to deadlines
You have the ability to build rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures combined with a global outlook
You have the potential to progress and grow into additional responsibilities over time
