Sainsbury’s Tech Academy

We're looking for innovative graduates to be part of our new Tech Academy. People who want to innovate with the infrastructure of a 150-year-old business and the agility of a start-up.

During your 20-month graduate scheme, you'll rotate across three areas of Sainsbury's Tech helping to build amazing systems and technologies that change the way people shop online and in-store. Based in one of our central London tech-hubs, you'll learn the intricacies of how we innovate at scale.

We understand the importance of testing, experimenting and learning. This approach, combined with our huge infrastructure and wealth of knowledge and experience, means flow diagrams can become apps and wireframes can become websites in weeks. In short, our ideas get made, launched and used. By millions. And yours could be, too.

What do we offer?

Working in a multi-brand, multi-channel business such as ours, you’ll gain unparalleled exposure to diverse technologies. And in return for your commitment, you’ll enjoy genuine autonomy to innovate, experiment, test and learn. Plus, since security is so important to us, you’ll earn respect and authority from day one.

You'll also receive a £33k starting salary, a new MacBook, performance-based bonuses, season ticket loan and more.

Who are we looking for?

At Sainsbury's Tech, we don't care about where you've come from. We care about what you can build and how you can help us drive innovation. To shine here, you’ll need to be agile. And as inquisitive as you are analytical.

There is no ideal candidate. We're looking for graduates who love finding creative solutions to problems and are passionate about technology. All you'll need is a degree and a drive to change the future of retail.

We aren’t looking at what’s on your CV - we just want to see your skills and your passion for technology. The whole process is completed via our app where you will be given instant feedback on your application. You can also move through the application process at your own pace.
