What you will be doing

Who we are

Our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems - has never felt more relevant. We bring our purpose to life through our focus on our clients, our people and the communities in which we live and work to address current and future challenges. As one of the world’s leading professional services organisations, attracting the right talent continues to be paramount. Investing in our people is central to our mission and inclusive culture. Whether it be empowering our people to learn new skills for the digital world, to reimagine the possible on how we work with clients, or to be open-minded on how we care for and support each other, we want to create an environment where our people can be the best they can be.

What you'll do

Find out what it takes to make it to the very top of PwC from the perspective of one of our female leaders. Open to all, regardless of gender, this programme is to inspire and support students seeking an experience in the workplace. During this three-day paid placement, you’ll work closely with a variety of people at all grades to learn what it's like to work at PwC, experiencing first hand the nature of the work that we do. You’ll choose which office you'd like to come to and which area of the business you're interested in. You’ll spend time with lots of different people, from graduates to senior leaders, attending meetings and working with our clients and teams to get real exposure to our business. Our Women in Business programmes are available nationally and the opportunities will be running over summer holidays (restrictions for some areas).

You should also have done plenty of research into the area of PwC you'd like to join. We strongly advise you to apply for the business area and office that interests you the most as any subsequent offers will be made for this area only.

What you will have

You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. Some routes have specific study year requirements, please check on the PwC Careers pages online.

Our Purpose

As one of the world’s leading professional services organisations and with 22,000 employees at offices UK-wide, attracting the right talent continues to be paramount. Jobs of the future are likely to require new skills so investing in our people is central to our mission and inclusive culture. Whether it be empowering our people to learn new skills for the digital world, to reimagine the possible on how we work with clients, or to be open-minded on how we care for and support each other, we want to create an environment where our people can be the best they can be. This includes encouraging our people to explore different ways of working with 'everyday flexibility' allowing a better balance of work and life, and 'dress for your day', where you decide what's appropriate given your daily responsibilities.

At PwC, graduates and undergraduates can expect to be part of a stimulating environment working on challenging projects in a culture that embraces difference. No matter what your degree or background, we have a range of roles where your impact matters.

The breadth of our business is reflected in the breadth of our clients, meaning you’ll be building skills through a variety of work from day one.

We’re looking for talented graduates eager to learn, with business awareness, intellectual and cultural curiosity and the ability to build strong relationships. You’ll develop and grow within a supportive and nurturing learning environment - in some business areas, this could mean working towards a professional qualification. Whatever the route you choose, hard work and accomplishments are recognised and rewarded with a competitive salary and a tailored flexible benefits scheme.

In this new era, we’ll all need to adapt and grow and it's your breadth of skills and your human difference that will help to stand you apart.
