Who we are

Our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems - has never felt more relevant. We bring our purpose to life through our focus on our clients, our people and the communities in which we live and work to address current and future challenges. As one of the world’s leading professional services organisations, attracting the right talent continues to be paramount. Investing in our people is central to our mission and inclusive culture. Whether it be empowering our people to learn new skills for the digital world, to reimagine the possible on how we work with clients, or to be open-minded on how we care for and support each other, we want to create an environment where our people can be the best they can be.

What you'll do

Find out what it takes to make it to the very top of PwC from the perspective of one of our female leaders. Open to all, regardless of gender, this programme is to inspire and support students seeking an experience in the workplace. During this three-day paid placement, you’ll work closely with a variety of people at all grades to learn what it's like to work at PwC, experiencing first hand the nature of the work that we do.

You’ll spend time with lots of different people, from graduates to senior leaders, attending meetings and working with our clients and teams to get real exposure to our business. Our Women in Business programmes are available nationally and the opportunities will be running over summer holidays (restrictions for some areas).

In a world where we’ve needed to reimagine the possible, we proudly launched our Virtual Park back in September, giving you the chance to meet and talk to our people in a virtual world. Designed to represent our office spaces in a Virtual Reality setting, PwC’s Virtual Park will give you a real insight into our working environment. You’re able to create your own avatar, walk around our park and take part in our events.

How we continue to make the difference

As a hugely diverse business, what binds us together is our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems. As COVID-19 dominated the headlines in 2020, we’ve been working towards a better, sustainable, and more equal future.

● Through our award winning social mobility work, we have continued to raise aspirations and hire people from more diverse backgrounds.

● Supporting social enterprises is a key focus of our sustainability work. We became founding members of the Social Enterprise UK’s Buy Social Corporate Challenge.

● We’re also working with business to ensure we’re building a fairer future post COVID-19 by improving social mobility, advancing equality and ensuring inclusion and diversity.

● We’re a business that practices what it preaches, we’ve joined the Veganuary Workplace Challenge by encouraging our people to choose more plant-based options.
