Be a Graduate Account Development Executive

What you will be doing

Are you a tastemaker? A mixer and shaker? Then please, pull up a chair.

As an Account Development Executive, you’d need to take initiative, dictating your own day around various customer activations and business opportunities. Your job would be to consistently maximise returns for our customers. That means you’d need a genuine interest in their business, a knack for communication and the ability to deliver intelligent solutions and practical help along the way.

Some of your day to day duties will include the following:

  • You will develop and maintain professional customer relationships in your territory
  • You will achieve coverage of designated stores in line with journey plan and coverage target, maximising retailer contact
  • You will deliver maximum compliance with promotional agreements to maximise return on investment and overcome obstacles to success
  • You will maximise availability of Pernod Ricard brands through merchandising and management of stock and ensure availability of our products to target customers
  • You will maximise opportunities for display agreements in stores, to deliver maximum brand visibility and optimise brand marketing activity
  • You will present promotional details and obtain transfer orders within designated specialist and convenience retailers as required
  • You will educate retail staff on Pernod Ricard brands and activity
  • You will support, agree, set up and carry out consumer events in store
  • You will monitor and feedback competitor activity
  • You will complete and submit all administration accurately and punctually
  • You will agree local promotional support for stores within territory budget (merchandise/product)
    You will amend/adjust journey plan to meet needs of business priorities

What you will have

We are looking for a recent graduate with a passion for our brands and the wider drinks industry. The ideal candidate would also have a background in hospitality, FMCG or drinks.

  • You are a graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher
  • You have work experience or placement during higher education in a commercial environment or customer facing role
  • You are friendly with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
  • You are computer and systems literate
  • You have advanced Microsoft Office capabilities
