Connect with new businesses, arrange and execute high-quality events and conferences and ensure the growth of this company continues to expand.
As a key member of this fast-growing start-up business, you will have a direct input into shaping the growth and future direction of Peloton Events. Your primary interest will be in sourcing new opportunities to build relationships with companies looking to host events and conferences through Peloton - this means creating an end-to-end process, from the first point of contact right through to the day of the event itself.
The initial induction period will allow us to discuss the company in more detail, the events we have hosted previously, the forthcoming events we have scheduled and the longer term objectives.
You will be allocated an event to work on, with a detailed brief and your core aims and objectives. We will spend the majority of the first week and some of the second week working on a one-to-one basis, in which we will teach the basic sales processes and ensure that there is a sound knowledge base. From here on we will be looking for you to start thinking independently, with support from our continuous development process.
We are not looking for candidates with a specific degree, as the events industry covers a vast range of sectors. However, you should be willing to take on responsibility quickly and have the passion to succeed that will help to drive the growth of the company forwards over the next few years.
We produce high value, high-quality events and conferences that allow our delegates and sponsors to connect within the sectors that we work with.
Peloton was created to offer quality-led networking events, where attendees can meet genuine decision makers. We recognise that the value derived from our events comes from the insights delivered through our speakers, and also through ensuring the right connections are made to take your business forward.
By the end of 2017, we will have delivered events across the rail, energy and highways sectors, and see the graduate community as an ideal target group to help establish a range of other events, across other sectors, in the coming years.
From our custom-made office space in Manchester Metropolitan University you will have the opportunity to engage with other like-minded individuals, as we are part of a brand new hub dedicated to supporting emerging companies like ours.
We like to celebrate individual success via incentives and bonuses on a monthly basis. Additionally we have incorporated 3pm finishes on Fridays, depending on collective success, as well as nights out and away days.
Our events are more than just a premium networking opportunity: for example, our gala dinners also feature an engaging panel debate, meaning that anyone who attends can ask key questions specifically related to their business.
In 2016, we spotted a gap in the market for high-level conferences and events that add value to the customers that we work with. From here, Peloton Events was born.
We can offer a great opportunity for graduates to continue what they have learned at university and apply it in a real life setting. We are committed to continuous development, through the creation of new events, new product launches and general improvements which offer our client the best possible experience.
In order for us to deliver on these promises, we wish to create a culture where no idea is a bad idea. By bringing together a group of people who share our values, we can work collaboratively to ensure we can host the best events in any given sector.
