What you will be doing

We keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry and make sure you are too, with a fantastic training system and personal development plan that help you achieve industry accreditations and continually grow your skill set.

Rather than a long list of job responsibilities, we thought we’d give you an insight into a typical day of someone on the Performance Team at NMPi.

Miranda graduated in 2016, and has been with NMPi since April 2017:

  • 9am Performance Checks on my accounts – anything from Kim Kardashian ripping a seam on a dress to Wayne Rooney switching clubs has massively affected our campaigns in the past.
  • 10am Problem Solving – there are hundreds of factors which could affect campaign performance, and it’s my job to discover what’s hindering performance and how it can be improved. One minor optimisation could make all the difference to my accounts' bottom line.
  • 11am Client Servicing – it’s important to make sure my clients are fully updated on campaign performance and are made aware of the latest developments and market trends, whether it be over email, on calls or face to face.
  • 2pm New Client Onboarding – our team is rapidly expanding, with new brands signing up all the time. When a new client gets assigned to me I’m responsible for setting up everything from tracking to campaign structure to client servicing arrangements.
  • 3pm Keeping Up With The Industry - it’s important for me to know what our competition and other people in the industry are doing. I stay updated with several websites and blogs to make sure nothing gets past me.
  • 4pm Growing My Accounts – I continue to share opportunities with my clients to drive their performance, whether that be in new territories, new campaigns, or even new channels altogether like Display & Social.
  • 5pm Meeting And Sharing New Ideas – being creative is an important part of the job, and sometimes trying something completely new in terms of targeting strategy or campaign structure can cause a big change in performance. It’s important we share the results (good or bad!) with each other for the benefit of the entire team’s performance.

What you will have

We’re looking for someone who wants to work in a sociable, relaxed yet professional environment and be at the forefront of cutting-edge Digital Technology.

You will work with market-leading brands and see your career progress in an award-winning and fast-growing business.

  • You are a high achiever, with at least a 2:1 degree in a subject which required quantitative skills
  • You are analytical, with excellent numerical skills (there's a maths test at the first interview stage so this is important)
  • You have  strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • You are proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • You have a strong interest in the online industry.
Onwards to our company and culture…

We are NMPi

We work with some of the world's best known-brands to help them reach their target audiences online.

Our Culture - What we do

As an award-winning Digital Marketing agency, we connect leading brands with their target audience on platforms across web, mobile and tablet by combining an innovative use of data with an understanding of our clients’ marketing needs.

With over 10 years' experience of leading the field, as well as industry-leading relationships with both Google and Yahoo!, it's safe to say that, when it comes to advertising, we know our stuff.

Our head offices where you will be based are just 5 minutes’ walk from Angel tube station in central London, with a fridge that’s always stuffed full of free snacks and drinks to tuck into.

We're particularly proud of our Sonos sound system in the office. Everyone can add songs to the playlist, so there’s never a shortage of good music playing while you work (as well as a few guilty pleasures).

Amongst our ranks are dancers, sportsmen, musicians, comic book collectors, yacht masters, poker players, DJs and martial artists - no matter what your background is, we want to hear about it.

We appreciate our team and reward them for their hard work with very competitive salaries, performance-related bonuses and membership to Perkbox, which grants exclusive savings on hundreds of huge brands from Amazon to Odeon.

Our plans are to grow massively over the next couple of years, including expansion into North America, so it's a really exciting time to launch your career with us in Digital Marketing.

Currently, we employ 66 people and have offices in London, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, and Malaysia. We are a successful and talented team to be a part of, with a strong emphasis on internal promotion.

There's always plenty going on inside and outside of the office to get stuck into, from our weekly Friday drinks to whole company trips away.

Our latest adventure was a skiing weekend in Europe, whilst sponsored events throughout the year like the Tough Mudder run always go down a treat.

Progression at NMPi

We have a three-year road map to double the size of the business. This means that there are lots of career opportunities, and it’s great for a graduate as we like to promote from within.

Graduates will be fully supported when they first join NMPI through a four-week training plan.

Our Graduates - Who we are

Jack's Graduate Story

The progression here is based on merit, not purely on your age or how long you've been working here.

After university I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do, so I took a gap year… after interviewing, I really got a feel for the people and I felt like I would be a good fit.

Our Future - Where we're going

Why Graduates Are Key to Our Future

Luke Judge, Managing Director

NMPi was established in 2004, with Paid Search at the core of what we do. Today, we deliver Paid Search, Display Advertising and Social Media in a truly biddable format that drives maximum performance from our clients.

We put a strong emphasis on internal promotion, as we believe in recognising people for their outcomes, rather than how long they have been here or how old they are.

Our people are what makes us, and we encourage everybody to follow their passions. For example when somebody raises money for charity, we double that contribution.

We have ambitious plans to expand over the next three years, with our new international offices forming the foundations for those plans, and new graduates are absolutely fundamental to this growth.

Join us, learn and progress your career and see the direct impact you can have in a growing business in this exciting industry.
