What you will be doing

You may be wondering what programmatic display is: well, put simply, programmatic display is a way of advertising online to targeted consumers. Users browsing the internet could see programmatic display banner ads, and the advertisers pay for the serving of those ads.

As part of a fast-growing team, you will have the opportunity to learn about new areas within the programmatic space, often having the chance to be first to market with new tools or targeting strategies.

  • You will work closely with colleagues and clients to understand our clients’ objectives and formulate a campaign strategy around these
  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing campaigns, analysing performance data and identifying ways to optimise performance
  • You will liaise directly with clients, providing them with regular reports, analysis, insights and big-picture strategy
  • You will be encouraged to participate in, and contribute to, our various initiatives within the team, as well as publishing blog posts and more to help promote our capabilities with the wider community
  • You will take part in our comprehensive six-week structured training programme, which will bring you up to scratch with no previous experience required.

What you will have

An outstanding academic record is a must - we're all geeks here at Merkle-Periscopix! You must have at least five grade As at GCSE, a minimum of 320 UCAS points (ABB at A level)  and a degree classification of 2:1 or above (in any subject).

We don’t need you to have worked in Digital Marketing before. However, it is crucial that you have an interest in Programmatic Display, or have done your research into this industry before you apply. We're looking for people who know their stuff.

Below, you'll find some additional key requirements:

  • You are enthusiastic, comfortable managing your own time and able to effectively and indepdently prioritise your work
  • You are confident dealing with people at a range of different levels, from colleagues to clients, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are comfortable working with basic numeracy and Excel spreadsheets, as your campaigns will be optimised based on their data
  • You are a problem solver, with demonstrable logic and reasoning skills
  • You are passionate, ambitious, curious and willing to be a good team-player
  • You are a high achiever, with a 2:1 or above in any subject
  • You are interested in developing a career within Digital Marketing
  • You are able to speak another language (this would be a huge plus) - at the moment we're in need of Dutch, German and Arabic speakers especially.

Our story began in 2015, when the well-known USA company Merkle acquired our Periscopix team as the start of their international expansion. From here, global takeover is only a few steps away...
