Begin a Business Development Internship in Cardiff

6-month full-time paid-internship at a dynamic software company, with the option to convert to full time.

Location: Cardiff

What you will be doing

Our Internship opportunity will help you learn business by doing business. The role is both fun and rewarding. There's a real focus on teamwork and culture but also a strong emphasis on business-to-business sales development.

You'll be working in a fun, cosmopolitan and international setting whilst gaining an internship level understanding of sales, prospecting and reporting. This will include continuous training and development so that you gain knowledge on the media intelligence industry

This is your opportunity to shine and ultimately join the organisation permanently, progressing into our international management trainee program where you get to run the whole 360 sales cycle yourself.

  • You will identify new business contacts for the sales team through prospecting
  • You will attend to client requests
  • You will assist with digital media reporting
  • You will assist with varied administrative duties Work as part of a very successful multi-disciplined team
  • You will be given all the necessary training and tools you will need to succeed in your role, and will be fully supported by the full Meltwater team.

We're looking for motivated graduates who have the following:

  • You have completed a university degree (any discipline) with a 2:1 or above 
  • You have entrepreneurial spirit and hunger for success
  • You have experience working in a professional environment (either full term or internships)
  • You have interests outside of work and study (travel, exchange, sport, volunteering etc.)
    You have a keen interest in news, current affairs and social media
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    You have eligibility to legally work in the UK and Ireland
