About this role

We are searching for ambitious graduates who are hungry to succeed and looking to advance their career within Consulting Sales. We provide a 4 - 8 week training programme which aims to give you a strong technical understanding of our products and an idea of what you will encounter out on the road. However, this is only the start of your continued training and development which will take place throughout your career at KEYENCE!

Job Specification:

• Direct Sales position to which you will be delegated your own territory

• Weekly Structure: 2 Office Days, 3 Field Days

• Your role will be to find and follow up on business leads and schedule new business opportunities

• You will be meeting and demonstrating our products to technicians, engineers, managers and directors in order to sell effective solutions

• To be a key contributor to our dynamic, close knit sales team

• To be able to work in a fast paced environment where no two weeks are the same

What you will have

• Degree educated in any discipline

• A hunger to succeed and over achieve

• Must be eligible to work in the UK

• Must have a full driving licence, valid in the UK

KEYENCE are searching for ambitious graduates to join our growing UK Sales and Back-Office teams. We have multiple opportunities across our UK and Ireland offices, for start dates in September 2022. If you are applying to join our sales team, you’ll receive commercial and product training during your first 4-8 weeks to become a specialist in one of our innovative product ranges. Following this, you will have the responsibility of your own sales territory and customer base, including some of the main blue-chip manufacturers.

Training and Application Procedure

After joining KEYENCE you will begin a 4-8 week sales training programme, consisting of a mix of classroom based and on the job training.

No prior experience in the industry or sales necessary as your training will cover the technical aspects of the role and the commercial sales skills needed.

As we have multiple vacancies, you’ll be joining the training with a group of likeminded graduates!

For all other roles, training is mainly done on the job within the close knit back office teams.

However, you will also get the opportunity to join sales visits and learn more about the different departments within KEYENCE UK!

Due to growth plans, we are currently recruiting for multiple vacancies in our Sales and Back Office Departments across the UK and Ireland.

After applying to KEYENCE, we aim to come back to you in one working day to let you know if you have been successful.

You’ll then be asked to complete an online interview or group interview session.

Following this, you’ll be invited to an interview day, which are run weekly.

The final stages will be a meeting with our General Manager and Sales Manager, then a joint sales visit with a member of the KEYENCE team (Sales roles only)
