Become an Integration Engineer

Join NTT DATA UK’s Early Careers, Fast Track Program – designed for candidates with basic IT skills who want to progress their career with a global IT service provider.

What you will be doing

If you’re successful at the interview stages, you’ll be offered a full-time role as an Integration Engineer and brought onto the NTT DATA UK Digital Technology Academy. Here you’ll develop key skills to ensure you’re client ready, all whilst being a fully employed and paid member of the team.

Your duties and tasks in the role will include the following:

  • You will Work as the Integration Engineer on the adoption of Hybrid Integration or an iPaaS solution with a focus on the Mulesoft Anypoint platform that includes API Designer, AP manager and API studio
  • You will Be an integral part of the Mulesoft development or other API tools like Apigee, Spring and unit testing for the projects
  • You will Be part of the team ensuring implementation as per best practices and standard
  • You will Work with like-minded individuals and experienced architects and develop into an advocate of Microservice, process automation and frameworks in project
  • You will Have the opportunity to work with Mulesoft UK and also our wider teams on large programs that includes multiple technology streams and complex architecture
    You will Develop and test integration services to agreed standards with guidance from senior architects
    You will Write well designed, testable and efficient scripts

If you’re successful through all stages, you will ‘earn while you learn’ by being enrolled onto the NTT DATA UK Digital Technology Academy.

Ideally we're looking for people who fit the following:

  • You have A knowledge of Java Development either from your studies or within a commercial environment
  • You have A minimum 2:1 degree is highly desirable but not essential if you have previous commercial experience
  • You have A good understanding of the full IT / Software Development lifecycle
  • You have Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You have Good problem-solving skills
    You have The ability to work with a combination of internal and external resource teams to work on developing and deploying new APIs and Integration patterns
    You have An understanding of general concepts of Web Services development
    You have Knowledge about Integration Patterns and/or Integration software like Mulesoft will be beneficial
