We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance/Accounting graduate, to join our growing team in Manchester. 

Location: Manchester

What you will be doing

Your role will be based in the purchase to pay team, where you will oversee processes, maintain balance sheets and drive process improvements within the team.

This role sits within our Finance Shared Centre based in Manchester, which is our hub for Northern Europe, so there's always lots of exciting new projects happening!

As a graduate finance assistant, your role will be:

  • You will perform compliant Purchase to Pay processes, using consistent and correct financial bookings in the area of Invoice, Travel & Expense and Vendor Account Management
  • You will review & maintain vendor related balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate accruals for vendor invoices & expenses
  • You will be a sparring partner for the entity contacts by linking business decisions to Purchase to Pay processes and by delivering and improving agreed Purchase to Pay services to the entities in scope
  • You will identify and drive PtP process and service level improvements using continuous improvement (CIP) tools and best suited technologies

What you will have

  • You have a Bachelors degree in business, Finance or similar or equivalent finance qualification 
  • You have a strong attention to detail
  • You are result-oriented, a top performer who consistently meets and exceeds goals
  • You have a willingness and ability towards continuous learning
  • You are able to demonstrate a keen desire to use system based tools to gain process efficiency
    You are able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
    You have previous Expertise in SAP S/4. This would be ideal but not essential
