What you will be doing
Tax supports our lives, our communities, and our environment in more ways than you may have realised. At EY, our tax teams advise our clients – who are organisations and individuals – on both the simple and complex tax concepts and rules. We act as innovative partners to our clients, offering supportive tax technology. This means that our clients can make the most informed decisions for their operations and futures, manage their tax risk and pay the right amount of tax, all while meeting their societal obligations. You will be working across various specialist tax teams within UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS).

You will be working directly on technical research alongside senior colleagues.

You will be working alongside audit teams assisting in the review of tax disclosures and other tax items in the accounts.

You will be interacting with global EY teams on tax compliance engagements and gaining an overview of tax requirements worldwide.

You will be building important relationships with clients through meetings and day-to-day work.You will be coaching and management of onshore junior and offshore resource to facilitate the delivery of your work.
What you will have
We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honour’s degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent).
