Join our Embedded Systems/Firmware Graduate Programme

At DisplayLink we’re looking for ambitious individuals to join our graduate Firmware programme. If you’ve got a degree in a technical field, whether that’s Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

Are you ambitious, thrilled by innovation and have a passion for all things technology?

Are you looking for a hands-on graduate scheme with a blossoming company in the heart of Cambridge Science Park?

Do you want to work with technology that supports the latest innovation in commerce, gaming, education and simulation?

This programme will be a brilliant fit for you if you’re fascinated by firmware and embedded systems, and enjoy working with C and C++. You’ll be joining a team of like minded problem solvers and will get the chance to work on ground breaking projects like building and designing chips for docking stations or VR headsets, which have the power to move pixels across a range of technologies.

You’ll also work laterally, partnering with our integrated circuits team and writing software for the back end of our products. Our firmware teams are constantly innovating for our world renowned customers who come to us with challenging problems to solve, pushing the boundaries of what technology is capable of.

What you will have

  • You have a 2.1 or above in a degree such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering.
  • You have a keen interest in embedded systems and firmware.
  • You enjoy fixing and adapting electrical devices - whether that’s a computer or your Raspberry Pi.
  • You are determined to solve challenging problems within tight constraints.
    You are fascinated by technological innovation.
  • You value collaborating with others in order to find solutions.
    You understand the makeup of individual electrical components and have experience working with hardware.
