What you will be doing

This is your chance to join our award winning Business Management Associate Programme – an 18-month executive sponsored scheme, which will see you taking on a number of rotations across our business and accelerate you into the world of IT services.

All of our Business Managers (also known as Service Managers) are predominantly based on customer sites around the UK, acting as the front line of our business. It will be your responsibility to work in partnership with the Account Management teams and our clients to ensure everything operates smoothly and all Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements are met.

Collaborating with multiple contacts, internally and externally, you’ll articulate our full portfolio of services and solutions, plus work with your customer to ensure that all of their business needs and demands are met.

  • You will gain the essential skills and business acumen needed to become a world-class professional and build a successful career
  • You will receive opportunities to network directly with our Senior Management team and understand Computacenter as an organisation during your rotations
  • You will be supported by company mentors and coaches throughout the programme
  • You will build productive relationships across the business to enable success as you move into a role at the end of the programme
  • You will come to understand the role of a Service Manager and how to manage customer contracts successfully
  • You will develop your people skills, service management skills and increase your knowledge of the IT Industry
  • You will prepare yourself for a customer facing role with some of the largest public and private enterprises in the UK and beyond.

What you will have

No IT experience? No problem. This unique journey will be the start to a successful career. However, as all of our Business Managers are focused on ensuring our customer’s needs are met and their expectations exceeded, we do look for individuals with the highest levels of drive and determination to succeed.

We also look for the following:

  • You have a minimum of 2:1 honours degree in any discipline (We accept applications from any graduate, no matter how long ago you graduated)
  • You have a full UK driving licence for travel across the UK
  • You are self-motivated with an interest in IT/technology and customer service
  • You have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are a great team player with the ability to build strong professional working relationships 
  • You have ambition, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.
