What you will be doing

This is your chance to join our award-winning Account Management Associate Programme – an 18-month, executive sponsored programme designed to accelerate the most talented individuals into the world of IT Sales.

This is not a cold calling or telesales training scheme. It is a real world, frontline, strategic Sales development programme, which will give you the opportunities and experience needed to sell our business, our people and our solutions to large multi-national organisations.

We will help strengthen your strategic thinking, Sales techniques and problem solving skills, with a clear career path outlined from the start. All of this will be achieved through carefully selected rotations across Computacenter to understand our business and how we develop long term relationships with our customers, allowing us to drive breadth and depth within our customer engagements to drive sales success.

Below is a taste of what to expect on the programme:

  • You will gain the essential skills and business acumen need to become a world-class Sales professional and build a successful career
  • You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of UK and international Sales campaigns with many customers coming from the FTSE100 and Fortune 500
  • You will have the chance to network directly with our Senior Management team.
  • You will be supported by company mentors and coaches throughout the programme
  • You will develop your people and Sales skills, as well as your knowledge of the IT industry
  • You will build productive relationships across the business, which will enable your success as you move into a role at the end of the programme.

What you will have

No IT or Sales experience? No problem. This unique journey will be the start to a successful career. Our training will prepare you for a customer facing role with some of the largest public and private enterprises in the UK and beyond.

However, we do ask that you have the following qualities:

  • You have a minimum of 2:1 honours degree in any discipline (we accept applications from any graduate no matter how long ago you graduated)
  • You have a full UK driving licence for travel across the UK
  • You are self-motivated with an interest in IT/technology Sales
  • You are able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have the ability to build strong professional working relationships and are a great team player
  • You have ambition, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.
