What you will be doing

As Finance Manager at Broadstone you'll be responsible for the organisation's finances. You'll guide senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term, and help with supporting investor relations.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • You will monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
  • You will contract outside services for tax preparation, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
  • You will track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • You will seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
  • You will research and analyse financial reports and market trends
    You will provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
    You will present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
    You will stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
    You will establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
    You will understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation

What you will have

We're looking for an experienced and fully qualified accountant who can take on the responsibility of managing the organisation's finances effectively.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

  • You are a fully qualified accountant
  • You have experience in a finance role
    You have superior mathematical skills
  • You have leadership qualities
    You are a solid communicator, both written and verbal
  • You have an understanding of business principles and practices
    You have organisational skills
  • You are analytical by nature
    You are computer literate
    You have integrity and honesty
