Launch your HR career with the international company that's dedicated to graduate development.
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join our 18-month programme, which is designed to develop talented individuals into our HR leaders.
You'll join our Corporate Affairs department, which covers HR, Business Change and Communications. While your core focus will be on HR, you will also get to build your experience across these other two areas during your placements too. However, whichever team you're working within, you'll work alongside experienced leaders to gain a unique insight into Arriva and the skills you need to excel here.
Although this role is primarily based in Sunderland, our company offers opportunities across a number of locations, and it is possible that one of your placements will be based in one of the 14 European countries we operate within.
Below outlines what else you can expect from the programme:
We are looking for grads who have, or are expecting to achieve, a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in HR, plus hold an interest in the broader aspects of Change and Communications.
As well as this, you should be able to show the following:
The transport leader creating a better future across Europe with the help of our talented team.

We're part of Deutsche Bahn (DB) and are responsible for DB's regional passenger transport services outside Germany. We operate a wide range of services including: local buses; inter-urban commuter coaches; local, regional and national train services; trams and light rail; waterbuses; demand response and non-emergency patient transport.
The Arriva values have been shaped by Arriva people, for Arriva people. They are at the very heart of Arriva, summing up what we stand for and what makes us unique.
It's a fast paced environment and I've had the opportunity to do lots of different things.
