Our Culture - What we do
We are a Construction Recruitment Consultancy, supplying management and commercial candidates to a range of clients, from Top 50 to specialist contractors, developers and consultancies. We have worked on some of the highest profile projects in the UK, from Heathrow Airport and The Olympic Games to Battersea Power Station and The Shard.
We take pride in the quality of service that we provide to clients and candidates. As specialists in our field, we keep up to date with the latest market news, which means we know when projects are breaking and where the best talent is hiding.
Our progressive and forward-thinking attitude is reflected in the development we offer to staff. Our training plan is the perfect combination of professional and structured training with hands on, practical experience. Designed to help graduates become the best they can be, it aims to accelerate them up to the level required for a promotion to Consultant in just one year.
We believe in rewarding all of our employees for their hard work, and have a highly competitive commission structure in place that gives them the chance to earn some very big money. If the company hits quarterly targets, we also have a “high roller” night out at one of the best restaurants in the city.
We strive to maintain a great vibe in the office, so all of our employees, from grads to directors, enjoy coming into work every day (trust us, the banter is always fierce). We regularly enjoy Friday lunches out, pub trips and company drinks, and our central location means there's always somewhere new to try.
The whole office went... to Las Vegas and stayed in the Bellagio for five days, which was very eventful.

Our Future - Where we're going

UKL Group was initially set up in 2004 by a group of Construction Management professionals, who saw a gap in the market. Since then, we have grown substantially, moved into new offices in central London and have developed a great reputation within the industry. Our expansion has been a direct result of our commitment to building client and candidate relationships that are based on the basic principles of honesty, clarity and delivery.
We find ourselves growing week by week, both in terms of profit and workforce. Yet, while we already supply staff to some of the biggest contractors in the UK and have been involved in some huge projects, market domination is our real ambition. To help us achieve this successfully, we are investing heavily in the business, as well as in the futures of the bright and talented graduates that we take on each year. A lot of our Consultants first started with us as trainees and have developed well thanks to the support and guidance that they have received from us. Now, many of them find themselves managing their own desks, looking after a portfolio of high-profile clients and earning lots of money as they do.
