Celebrating success is a key part of the SMG culture. Every month we are encouraged to nominate both individuals and groups for their achievements and these nominations are categorised against our 4 company values. All nominations are read out during our company meetings and the winner receives a bottle of champagne for their outstanding achievement.
Our offices represent who we are as an agency and we love to make sure each of our locations are a fun and lively place to work. We've always got Spotify playlists on the go and make the most of the opportunity to have a team breakfast, with plenty of fruit and cereal to go round. Friday always means an early finish, with drinks commencing an hour before the end of the day.

‘SMG’ stands for ‘Shopper Media Group’, and that’s exactly what we do. We were founded in 2008 by two guys from Dunnhumby, who were spearheading the development of Tesco’s media estate when they saw a gap in the market for an agency that specialised in shopper media and really understood the complexities behind executing a successful campaign.
Since then, we have grown across three separate agencies and locations, with over 1000 successful campaigns under our belt in just over ten years.
Our founders experienced first-hand the struggle of finding that first graduate job, and in response to this we make sure that giving opportunities to young people is at the heart of our recruitment strategy. As a result, our management teams are made almost exclusively of graduates who have grown and discovered their potential in the company.
