We are Sainsbury's Tech
At the heart of an ever-changing space, our Tech teams create amazing systems and technologies. We give our colleagues and our customers bold and nimble solutions online and in-store. And as part of the Tech Academy, you'll be playing an important part from day one.

Sainsbury’s Tech Academy
We're looking for talented individuals to be part of our Engineering Jumpstart programme from September 2021. People who want to innovate with the infrastructure of a 150-year-old business and the agility of a start-up.
During your 20-month programme, you'll rotate across three areas of Sainsbury's Tech helping to build amazing systems and technologies that change the way people shop online and in-store. Based in one of our tech hubs in Central London, Milton Keynes, Coventry or Manchester, you'll learn the intricacies of how we innovate at scale.
You’ll be given the choice of where you want to spend your rotations, and you could find yourself working on: Supply Chain & Logistics, Technology Platform & Enablement, Testing/Performance Engineering, Customer Channel, Data Engineering or Personalisation & Commercial Platforms.

What do we offer?
Working in a multi-brand, multi-channel business such as ours, you’ll gain unparalleled exposure to diverse technologies.
And in return for your commitment, you’ll enjoy genuine autonomy to innovate, experiment, test and learn.
You'll also receive: a £30 - £33k starting salary (dependent on location), 22 days holiday, Performance-based bonus, a New MacBook, Discounts across Argos, Sainsbury’s and Habitat and much more.

Who are we looking for?
At Sainsbury's Tech, we don't care about where you've come from. We care about what you can build and how you can help us drive innovation. To shine here, you’ll need to be agile. And as inquisitive as you are analytical.
There is no ideal candidate. We're looking for individuals who love finding creative solutions to problems and are passionate about technology. You may be a recent software engineering graduate, or you may be self-taught: all you'll need is some experience of coding, and a drive to change the future of retail.
