Our Culture - What we do
A FTSE 250 company with offices spanning the UK, Europe and Africa, Computacenter is Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. It's our aim to advise clients on how Digital Technology could transform their business.
We work closely with organisations to assess and advise them on IT strategy, how to implement the most appropriate technology and how to optimise its performance. We also manage the infrastructures our clients have in place.
We stay true to our values of ‘Winning Together’ in everything we do. In fact, all of our business and work is centred on this mission. Working with people, building long-term relationships and helping our customers to succeed is why we do what we do.
The career opportunities and progression that we offer our staff are second to none. Our Associate Programme has a fantastic reputation and heritage, and being a part of it gives you access to leadership and mentoring from the most successful individuals in our business - our CEO, Mike Norris, even takes the time to meet graduates before they start with us.
We also like to have fun, as well as working hard. As part of a previous Associate Programme, we flew out to Barcelona for our Sales Kick Off, mixing business in the day and fun in the evening. A highlight for us all was our CEO entering the awards event dressed as a member of Kiss, head to toe, before belting out some great songs.

I expected the role to be very varied, which it has been... [Plus] everyone is really approachable, from the lowest level up to the MD.
There's a really good network of Associates... It's been really good to make friends with them, both in work hours and at social events, including the Crystal Maze and the Kick Off, which was held in Barcelona.

Mike Norris, CEO of the Computacenter Group
First established in 1981, Computacenter is now Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services and solutions. We employ over 12,000 people internationally, with over 500 based in our headquarters in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
We have offices across the UK, Germany, France, the Benelux countries, Spain and South Africa. We also serve our customers’ global requirements through our extensive partner network.
Our focus is on corporate and government organisations, typically those with 500 to 10,000 employees, and large enterprises of 10,000 or more employees. We advise these clients on their IT strategy, implementing the most appropriate technology from a wide range of leading vendors (including Microsoft and IBM) and manage their technology infrastructures on their behalf. At every stage we make our customers’ businesses sharper by removing costs, complexities and barriers, ensuring that their IT is empowering them to be successful.
In 2016, our adjusted profit before tax was £86.4 million and revenues were £3.25 billion: a good indicator of our success. Over 70% of the group’s revenue comes from services, software and sales of enterprise products such as servers and connectivity.
We strongly believe our people are the core foundation for sustaining competitive advantage. Many members of our senior management started their careers with us and have gone on to achieve the highest of heights and we're looking for ambitious individuals who would thrive on the opportunity to follow in their footsteps.
