Our Culture - What we do
As Westminster’s leading housing manager, CityWest Homes manages over 21,000 homes, which includes 9,000 leaseholder homes, 12,000 social homes and the communities which they are situated in. We also manage one of the first and largest district heating systems in London.
Our aim is not only to provide first-class customer service to our 60,000 residents, but to develop and regenerate exciting new properties for tomorrow's generation.
Currently London is suffering a massive housing crisis, with an increasing number of homeless living on the streets and an impossible waiting list for social housing.
We are committed to reducing the wait for social housing and reducing the number of people forced to live on the streets through our asset regeneration and property development programmes, as well as a commitment to people living in our properties to help them get work and gain independence.
Additionally, we continually invest in existing properties to ensure they are places where people are proud to live and are not having a negative impact on residents’ health.
We have a property and development directorate made up of highly experienced and qualified team members from leading global property services organisations.

Our Future - Where we're going
Martyn Jones, Head of Asset Strategy and Regeneration
We were created in 2002 in partnership with Westminster City Council – this partnership gives us a unique position in the Property industry.
Overall we manage in excess of £5 billion of real estate assets, £400 million of development projects and are investing £50 million per annum in existing property in Westminster.
Our role encompasses both a consultancy service to the Council and a facilitator of excellent customer service to the 60,000 residents in our Central London properties. Our day-to-day operations are highly autonomous, with crucial decision-making often taking place in the office on behalf of Westminster.
With the second highest population growth amongst English local authorities, Westminster needs new homes. Our Property and Development teams are actively engaged with landowners, developers and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of over 1,000 new homes by 2021.
This work includes acquiring and disposing of assets to realign the existing portfolio to meet the future needs of our residents. Additionally, our teams are working on a 30 year investment programme worth an excess of £1.5 billion.
We have ambitious targets and require you to support us in achieving our goals. Graduates will be at the forefront of delivering our renewed focus on regeneration and development, as well as looking at how we work with our partners to deliver our high level of customer service in terms of maintenance and repair.
