We are Cause4

With our help, charities and social enterprises across the UK and overseas can take their next steps towards making a difference.

Our Culture - What we do

We work in partnership with corporations, charities and a host of artists, sportspeople and entrepreneurs to develop new and innovative ways of raising vital funds, scaling up charities and social enterprises and supporting them to change and grow.

Creating lasting impact for important causes is at the heart of our mission. As a team, and individually, we are all very socially minded in what we do.

We are a small team, but with big ambition and a big heart: to us, it’s not the size of project that matters but whether it can make an impact. Provoking change is at the heart of our mission.

As well as this, we work across the year to raise vital funds across the charity, arts, sports and education sectors.

Although we are a commercial business, we are socially minded one , which is why we are recognised as one of the pioneering B Corporations in the UK.

We understand that a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset is key to working on some of the world’s most pressing issues, and we work hard to build a workplace which encourages the same in all of our staff.

For grads looking to join our team, we offer excellent progression routes, the chance to work with the world’s leading charities and corporations, great benefits and training, a central London location (near Shoreditch) and a flexible working environment.

Did you know? The passage next to our office was used as one of the settings for Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter films, and who doesn’t love Harry Potter!

We can help charities to deliver upon their objectives. We get involved pretty much end to end.

Our Graduates - Who we are

Alice's Graduate Story

01:31

I was an arts graduate with a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies but [at uni] I developed a real interest in charities… Cause4 represented a great opportunity to combine those two things.

Alice's graduate story.

  • Studied Drama and Theatre Studies

  • Gained work experience with a small charity alongside her studies

  • Graduated in 2015

  • Joined Cause4 as a Development Associate in September 2015

  • Has experienced work with arts organisations, international development charities and more

Cause4 has a very young and lively team. It’s a lot of fun – the fact that I’m working with clients means I’m lucky to meet a lot of interesting people working in different sectors.

Our Future - Where we're going

Why Graduates Are Key to Our Future

Michelle Wright, Chief Executive and Founder

Cause4 was set up in 2009 to support charities who were struggling to navigate the UK's challenging economic climate.

Since then, we've become one of the country's leading B Corporations - a title only given to companies with an explicit social purpose such as ours.

With beginnings rooted in arts and sports organisations, we have widened our expertise across the charity sector to include a diverse range of projects, from international development charities to education funds.

Our graduate programme has provided over 70 graduates to date with their first steps into the sector. We look for future leaders who are ambitious, curious, motivated and passionate about our causes.

If you're ready to begin what will become a long term career in the charity sector, we can't wait to hear from you.
