The top 10 happiest cities in the UK have been revealed

Worcester and Wrexham are tied as the happiest areas in the UK, according to the people who live there.

Personal finance firm, Provident Personal Credit, asked thousands of people in locations across the UK to rate their location based on how welcoming, friendly, polite, safe and happy the area is.

The firm's biannual report, 'Unbroken Britain,' then revealed each city's score on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the highest possible score.

Both Worcester and Wrexham scored 7.83 out of 10 for how happy residents think the area is. Meanwhile, major cities including Manchester and London failed to make the top 10, ranking 26th and 28th respectively.
